Dana Lauren Berry

Dana Lauren Berry is a communications director with expertise in the hospitality/tourism and lifestyle sectors, currently serving as Director of Public Relations & Communications for Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, the area's first and only Five Diamond Award rated resort. Berry oversees the PR and social media initiatives for the 26-acre, 443-room resort, including The Spa and the resort’s six restaurants. Four Seasons Resort Orlando is the largest Four Seasons property in North America, in terms of its scope and on-property amenities, from an 18-hole golf club and three Har-Tru tennis courts to a five-acre waterpark complete with a lazy river. Berry is responsible for all communications for the property, including news releases, newsletters, social media oversight, community relations, strategic partnerships and regular coordination of media events/FAM trips. Berry joined Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in 2010, as the opening Director of PR for Four Seasons Hotel Denver. She garnered accolades for the property in numerous national publications, and secured the No. 1 ranking on TripAdvisor out of more than 140 hotels in the market. Additionally, Berry served as opening Director of Public Relations for Four Seasons Resort Vail, achieving media coverage and acclaim on an international scale. Before joining Four Seasons, Berry worked as an independent public relations consultant for hospitality and tourism clients. Previously, Berry served as Corporate Director of Public Relations for Magnolia Hotels. She developed a love for hospitality PR early in her career, while working at a PR agency and representing The Hotel Telluride. Her diverse PR background includes serving as the Assistant Press Secretary for Colorado Gov. Bill Owens and as External Communications and News Media manager for Centura Health, Colorado’s largest health care provider, and in media relations for the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and University of Colorado Hospital. She graduated from the University of Colorado School of Journalism with a bachelor's degree in Journalism- News/Editorial, and before delving into PR, Berry was a reporter with The Denver Post. In her spare time, Berry can be found at the many Orlando area theme parks with her two sons, ages 9 and 7, or day-tripping to the amazing Florida beaches.
