Aya DeSimone

Aya DeSimone has over two decades of corporate and investment banking experience around the world in NY, Australia and Asia. She spent several years managing Treasury risk portfolios for multinational corporations such as Apple.

Aya transitioned her career from client side to banking becoming a Senior Relationship Manager with UBS Investment Bank. Here she managed and enhanced top client relationships and business development for the firm and also served as an active member of the Culture and Diversity Committee.

Aya recently shifted gears and focused her energies and experience on giving back to her community. She has managed local political campaigns and also serves on advisory boards and confounded local non profit boards committed to improving and accelerating gender parity policies and practices in our communities, businesses, government.

Aya believes that gender parity benefits us all, both economically and socially. She has applied that belief in her business career through her mentoring and sponsorship of young interns and colleagues.

Aya studied in Melbourne Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Science Mathematics, Statistics and Econometrics with a post graduate diploma in Finance.
